Mission

The mission of Timpanogos Youth Theater is to provide a safe, fun, engaging environment for children to learn musical theater skills and to experience the magic of showcasing those skills on stage.

Our 3 Performing Companies

Timpanogos Youth Theater currently offers three performing companies, a summer workshop/production, a musical theater dance class and acting classes.

  • Premier Troupe is for 3rd-6th graders and currently they start rehearsing their production in January and perform in March.
  • Encore Troupe is for 7th-12th graders and they start rehearsals in the fall and perform in January.
  • Additionally, a beginning musical theater class for students kindergarten through second grade, Bravo Troupe, is offered during the school year. The Bravo Troupe performs three pre-shows before Premier and Encore Troupe’s productions.
  • The Summer Workshop is for 8-18 year olds. These participants rehearse for 3 weeks in July and then perform at the American Fork Amphitheater.
  • Our Musical Theater Dance class is held once a week for one hour at Leaps & Bounds Dance Studio. This class is designed for boys and girls who are interested in learning dance technique to help them in their musical theater pursuits. We will focus on building jazz and ballet technique that will strengthen musical theater choreography skills. No recital or costume fees.
  • We offer theater classes in the Fall that cover basic acting and audition techniques and will help students expand vocal energy, improvisation and character skills.
