Organizational Overview
The Timpanogos Arts Foundation (TAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing, promoting, and sustaining the local arts community. Through diverse programming, partnerships, and community engagement, TAF fosters creativity and cultural enrichment, ensuring that the arts remain a vital component of civic life.

Position Summary
The Board of Directors of the Timpanogos Arts Foundation seeks a highly qualified, visionary, and results-oriented Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and overall management of the organization. The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer, reporting directly to the Board of Directors, and is responsible for organizational operations, financial health, staff and contractor management, and the cultivation of key external relationships.

The Executive Director will also be charged with securing funding from public and private sources, advancing TAF’s mission, and positioning the organization for long-term growth and impact.

Primary Responsibilities
● Provide executive leadership to all aspects of TAF operations, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.
● Manage and supervise staff and contractors, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
● Develop and implement strategies for securing sustainable funding from grants, donations, sponsorships, and government support.
● Serve as the primary representative and spokesperson for TAF, cultivating strong relationships with donors, community leaders, government agencies, and arts stakeholders.
● Oversee the preparation and administration of annual budgets in collaboration with the Board Treasurer and Finance Committee.
● Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.
● Partner with the Board of Directors to shape and execute long-range strategic planning and governance initiatives.
● Promote the visibility and relevance of TAF as a leader in the regional arts community.

Qualifications
● Minimum of 5 years of senior-level nonprofit management experience; experience within the arts or cultural sector strongly preferred.
● Demonstrated success in fundraising, including grant procurement, donor development, and sponsorship cultivation.
● Strong financial acumen, with proven experience in budget development, financial oversight, and resource allocation.
● Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
● Experience working in partnership with a governing board. Strategic thinker with demonstrated capacity for organizational growth and long-term sustainability.
● A deep passion for the arts and their role in community and cultural development.

Compensation and Benefits
● Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
