“TCT’s production is filled to the brim with out-of-this-world singers and comedic timing beyond the words of the script. … the exaggerated physicality ensures all can easily follow the hilarious story. While the goofiness is fantastic, the cast is the shining star of the production.” ~ Brynn Carnesecca, TCT’s Pirates of Penzance is a whimsical adventure (AF Citizen)
“… an engaging evening full of laughs … thoroughly entertaining with a large boisterous cast that are all clearly having a wonderful time …” ~ Rachel Wagner, TCT’s Pirates Of Penzance Is A Modern Major Miracle
“… one of the funniest versions of this comedic operetta that I have ever seen! I was laughing from beginning to end at the physicality in all of the scenes …” ~ Phaedra’s Adventures, Timpanogos Community Theater’s The Pirates of Penzance
“The leads in American Fork’s Pirates of Penzance bring a sweet realism as they perform. Williams, Hansen, Moore, Fowler, and Mathias help this show go from silly to satisfying. Their acting skills are top notch. … Director Myers keeps all the energy alive with this fine cast, and it’s a delight to behold.” ~ Front Row Reviewers

“The ensemble is, simply put, fantastic. Each of their numbers amps up the complexity of their contribution and while the half-time show stylings of “Gaston” are hysterically ostentatious, it’s hard to put into words the magnificence of “Be Our Guest.” It certainly kept my almost-seven-year-old companion talking about the dancers in the row right behind us until well after we left the theater.” – Kathryn Olsen for Front Row Reviewers
“Far and away, the stars of this show were Sarah Fisher (as Belle) and Bryan Johnson (playing Beast), who played the titular roles. Fisher and Johnson had powerful voices rife with emotion at the right times, and played well off of the various ensemble members around them. I was particularly touched watching the sweetness of the interaction between Belle and her father, Maurice (played by Robert Bahr). Thanks to Bahr’s touching performance his character’s concern for his daughter was sweet, and her reactions to him sincere as she expressed her self-doubts to him and he reassured her.” – Scott Savage for UTBA

“This cleverly staged production is a must-see for The Sound of Music lovers, celebrating the heights of compassion and hope while inspiring us to diligently stand up for what is right, especially in the face of daring opposition. Go climb those mountains.” – Rachel Carr for Front Row Reviewers
“Ultimately, the Timpanogos Community Theater production of The Sound of Music made me think, feel, and engage with the production. While the show is longer than modern musicals, the characters and themes felt present and engaging throughout. Doing work of this caliber within a community theatre context and in a show featuring so many young actors is a tribute to a strong leadership team and a director who found the timelessness and timeliness of the production. Jeffries’s wrote “I hope this performance will transport you to the hills of Austria and inspire you to take a closer look at your own values.” For this reviewer, the production did exactly that.” – Scott Savage for UTBA
