Beginner Ukulele Camp : June 18-21, 2:30-3:25pm at the American Fork Arts Institute, 53 W Main Street in American Fork. For students 9-18 with no previous ukulele experience. Learn to hold, finger chords, strum and sing a number of 2 and 3 chord songs. Bring your own ukulele and make sure it is tuned before the first class (many youtube videos and free tuning apps will help you tune a new ukulele). Intermediate Ukulele Camp : June 18-21, 3:30-4:30pm at the American Fork Arts Institute, 53 W Main Street in American Fork. For students at least one semester of ukulele experience. This class will focus on learning several ‘ukulele orchestra’ arrangements in 2-3 parts. Students will learn how to read tablature and new chords. Class will culminate in a performance on Saturday, June 22nd at the Original Utah Uke Fest (early afternoon, time TBD). Register at http://bit.ly/AFYCSUMMER19.
IMPORTANT: Each class is limited to 20 students (first come basis), so PLEASE be sure you are ABLE TO COMMIT before you register. Anyone registering after 20 students will be put on a wait list.
