The Timpanogos Arts Foundation of American Fork will be hosting, in cooperation with the the USDC and the City of American Fork, its first annual Americana Arts and Music Festival on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at the American Fork Amphitheater.
On behalf of the American Fork Visual Arts Program, I would like to invite you to join us at this event. We invite you to rent a space and share your artwork with all those in attendance. The day will be filled with excitement including: artists booths: your art and many others like yourself, lots of music from a wide variety of musical groups. There will be children’s hands-on art areas, a sidewalk chalk-art competition, street performers, and a wide variety of foods for your enjoyment.
Come and join us for the fun-filled day and introduce and sell your art to all those who will be coming out to see and hear the sights and sounds of the arts. The booth fee will be waved for the inaugural year. Set up by 10am.
The following rules/regulation will apply to the artists:
- All work in every category must be original work produced by the exhibiting artist.
- Work which has been produced with commercial kits, molds, patterns, plans, prefabricated forms or other commercial methods is not permitted.
- The Festival Committee reserves the right to request that any piece of art that is found to be offensive, such as nudes, profane, etc., be removed.
- Artists should only exhibit and sell work in a media category for which are designated. See below for acceptable categories.
- Artists or immediate family members must be present to exhibit. Visitors expect to meet the artist at this Festival.
- Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and reporting their own sales tax.
- No early teardowns before the Festival ends at 7:30 pm on Saturday evening.
- For painters, photographers and digital artists selling reproduced works, including giclee prints, the reproductions must be signed and in a numbered edition. Reproductions must be clearly marked.
- If you need electricity you will need to provide it yourself. We don’t believe you will need it as the festival will be held during daylight hours – 10 Am until 7:30 PM.
