American Fork Children’s Choir
WINTER WONDER
The combined American Fork Children’s Choirs (Concert Choir, Gator Choir, Ukulele Youth, Family Handbell Choir, 3-chord Choir, Chimes & Voices) will be joining with the Timpanogos Chorale to present WINTER WONDER at 7pm on December 8th at the American Fork Jr. High Auditorium. AFCC will begin their set with “Walking in the Air” from the beloved Christmas special, The Snowman. Other included holiday favorites are the Beach Boys’ Little St. Nick and the beautiful What Shall We Give? Premieres of new works include Old Father Christmas and The Reason for the Season. The audience will have a chance to sing along with Ding Dong Merrily on High and Go Tell it on the Mountain. Finally, the choirs with combine with the Timpanogos Chorale for Infant Holy, Infant Lowly and the premiere of Ring! Bells Ring! (featuring our new Family Handbell Choir).

When the reverend’s rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren’s reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. To the rockin’ rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated top 40 score (the soundtrack album reached number one on the Billboard charts and has sold over 15 million copies!) and augmented with dynamic new songs for the stage musical, FOOTLOOSE celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind. The American Fork Symphony will present its annual Christmas concert titled “The Comforts of Christmas” on Monday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. in the American Fork Junior High School Auditorium. The symphony will be joined by several musical guests: the Witness Music Choir, On the Air and soprano soloist Serena Kanig Benish.
