The arts have a long history in American Fork. Beginning with the Visual Arts Board, formed in the 1940’s, the City of American Fork has celebrated the arts with many successful arts programs and projects – including the very successful Pageant of the Arts back in the 1970’s and 80’s – and our other fine arts programming we offer today.
For example, our very own American Fork Symphony celebrated their 30th Anniversary in 2023. With TAF’s adult symphony, a youth orchestra, two choral groups, two theater ensembles, and a visual arts program, we are going strong and growing. In addition to our arts programming, TAF also produces 3 major events annually: the Americana Arts & Music Festival, the American Fork History & Heritage Pageant, and the Mary Kawakami Youth Scholarship Speech Contest. We also present three events for American Fork’s Steel Days each year: the Kick-off Concert, the Art Show, and the new American Fork’s Got Talent – Talent Show.
With your support, we can continue to provide entertaining arts events, programs, and classes to the citizens of American Fork and the surrounding communities.
