Wasatch Show Band Plays Alpine Days 2018

Wasatch Show Band Plays Alpine Days 2018, 11:00 to Noon on August 11 at Creekside Park, Midway. The band will be playing as the parade ends, with thousands of people filing into the park.
Some selections include Gimme Some Lovin’, Happy, I want you Back, Respect, Everything, Skyfall, and In the Mood.

Founders John Miller and Roger Liston toured in rock bands before they attended college. John and Roger met while unpacking new musical instruments, and were surprised to learn they both liked the same rock and soul songs, especially when played by bands with LOTS of horns. They soon decided to start a band to play the favorites of their past. John Miller is a member of The Bands of America Hall of Fame, and has taken his band to every major musical event in America; Macy’s parade, Rose parade, winning dozens of musical competitions. In short, he is a legendary band leader.
