The American Fork Children’s Choir is pleased to announce a new partnership with The American Fork Library. The library will be hosting two of the children’s choir programs in the 2018-19 school year.

Chimes & Voices will meet on Wednesdays at 3:45-4:30pm in the Library Community Room, beginning August 22nd. This non-auditioned choir for ages 7-14 teaches principles of good singing and musicianship while learning to play hand chimes, resonator bells, desk bells, xylophones, glockenspiels, boomwhackers and other fun pitched percussion instruments.

The Ukulele Youth 3-Chord Choir will meet on Wednesdays at 4:30-5:15pm in the Library Community Room, beginning August 22nd. This non-auditioned choir for ages 10-16 learns easy songs to sing and play on the ukulele. No previous ukulele experience required. Students should plan to bring their own ukulele.

Both choirs will be preparing music to sing at the annual Christmas in the Rotunda concert at the American Fork Library.

Thanks to the generous support of the American Fork Library, the American Fork Arts Institute and the American Fork PARC Program, AFCC is able to offer these choirs tuition-free and open to the public.

Registration will open soon. For information on registration and other AFCC programs, please visit http://americanforkarts.com/afcc/
