American Fork Youth Choirs

Community Easter Celebration on April 14th
The American Fork Youth Choirs will be hosting a Community Easter Celebration at 7pm on April 14th at the Alpine Tabernacle in downtown American Fork. Guest artists include the Timpanogos Chorale, Utah Children’s Choir, organist Heidi Rodeback, as well as classical sopranos Clara Hurtado Lee (Tabernacle Choir & Utah Opera), Venicia Wilson (USU) and tenor Brian Manternach (U of U). Please join us for this free evening of delightful sacred music in celebration of the Easter season.

Wasatch Winds

A Night on Broadway
The Wasatch Winds, directed by John Miller, will present an evening of selections from Broadway on Monday, April 22 at 7:30 pm at the American Fork High School Auditorium (510 North 600 East, American Fork). Adults $5 Students $3, Immediate Family Pass $15, Kids 5 & Under Free.

American Fork Symphony

Salute to Youth
On April 29th, The American Fork Symphony Orchestra will present its annual youth soloist concert. Soloist ages from 7 to 11 will perform on the piano, violin, clarinet, oboe, and harp with music ranging from Haydn to Mendelssohn to Rachmaninoff, including a “Baroque Flamenco.” Additional music from the Broadway hit musical “Wicked” and the Bacchanale from the opera “Sampson et Dialila” will be presented. The symphony prides itself on presenting concerts that all members of the family can enjoy.

Children’s Art Class
New! Exciting Art Classes for Children with fun projects while we explore different mediums each month! 3/23 at 10-11 am, 3/23 at 11am-12 pm, 4/27 at 10-11 am, 4/27 at 11am-12 pm, 5/25 at 10-11 am, 5/25 at 11am-12 pm. American Fork Fitness Center Room 3 – 454 N Center Street American Fork UT 84003. $15 for each one hour class, supplies included in cost. Art Classes for Children will include a one hour guided art experience with our amazing and fun art educators. Every child will take home one or more artworks of their own making at the end of class. Art projects will include watercolor painting, acrylic painting, cartooning, drawing, printmaking and much more.

Easy Acrylic Painting for Beginners : Daytime Class
Come and paint with us! Wonderful, bi-monthly acrylic painting classes for beginner painters will be held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from 10 am to noon. Dates: 3/8, 3/22, 4/12, 4/26, 5/10, and 5/24. Timpanogos Arts Foundation Art Center – 53 West Main Street, American Fork Utah 84003 $25 for each two hour class, supplies are not included. Acrylic painting is a fun, stress free class to learn the techniques and skills of painting. Each class will be a guided art experience to help you complete your very own painting. Bring a friend and enjoy being creative! Each artist needs to bring the following art supplies: canvas or canvas board (8×10 or 11×14), acrylic paint brushes (flat, rounds, filberts of various sizes), paint knife(s), paper towels, apron, and acrylic paint in the following colors in any brand:
• White: Titanium White, Dark Titanium White
• Black: Mars Black
• Red: Primary Magenta, Quinacridone Red or Alizarin Crimson, or Cadmium Red Light
• Yellow: Primary Yellow, Diarylide Yellow, Yellow Ochre
• Blue: Primary Cyan, Ultramarine Blue, Phthalocyanine Blue
• Orange: Pyrrole Orange or Cadmium Orange
• Green: Permanent Green
• Violet: Dioxazine Purple
• Brown: Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna

Table Time
Table Time is open to all artists to work on their individual art projects while collaborating with other artists and have fun creating together. Come work around the table and chat about life and art. All are welcome to Table Time! Every Tuesday at 11 am – 2 pm all year round, except holidays, at AF Historic City Hall – 31 North Church Street. First hour is free for first time participant. $10 per hour or buy a punch card for a great discount. Punch Cards are available at Table Time.
